In my own experience taking pictures, it has often been the most unintentionally funny pictures that bring me the most laughs. Whether it's a person who was talking, and their mouths just happen to be at a weird angle when captured on film, or a blink that makes them look like they are stoned, it is often hard to pose a truly funny image. I imagine this is how the paparazzi get their AWFUL pictures of celebrities; if you keep following someone and continuously take pictures, you are sure to get an image that appears to have a meaning or theme that is way out of context.
Well, if I can get to sleep after seeing this, my dreams are going to be interesting, to say the least.
ReplyDeleteGreat discussion. I think one of the unfortunate things going on here is the tilt of the rabbit's head, which emphasizes the sinister aspect to its eyes.
I agree about the paparazzi. Although I think it's equally true that when it comes to things like a magazine cover, we don't see the 499 bad or only so-so images; just the best photo.
